The Project was made possible through an air quality grant from SCAQMD. The project synchronized traffic signals throughout the city reducing carbon emissions. A fiber optic backbone was installed, along with CCTV cameras throughout the city’s main corridors.

Avenue 52 Grade Separation

The project was made possible by partnering with multiple federal, state and local funding agencies, with a total of seven funding sources. The project was completed on time and met all of its project milestones, including the successful resolution of a number of challenging agreements. These included the UP C&M agreement, the CVWD Cooperative Agreement, and the MCI/Verizon Agreement (with buy American Provision).

Corporate Yard Solar Project

This project constructed a 194-kilowatt Direct Current solar panel system. Two back to back GE DuraStation electric vehicle charging stations were also installed, allowing for up to four cars to be charged simultaneously. The project was made possible through an air quality grant from SCAQMD.

Project study Reports and CEQA have been completed. Because of multiple agencies and jurisdictions having control of the Dillon Corridor, a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) was formed for the purpose of repairing the existing bridge and applying for federal/tribal funding for the corridor. The project was made possible by partnering with multiple agencies including close coordination with multiple tribal governments.
