On April 22, 2015, the City Council of the City of Coachella approved the General Plan 2035 document along with the Program EIR and Climate Action Plan.  The Southern CA Association of Governments recognized the City of Coachella at their General Assembly & Regional Conference on May 7, 2015.  See the Video that was prepared by SCAG and the corresponding story in The Desert Sun newspaper at the link below.
