About Us
The Coachella Parks and Recreation Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 public benefit corporation, organized for the specific purpose to aid, sponsor, promote, advance, and develop parks and recreational opportunities for the residents of Coachella.
The Foundation provides recreation scholarships to financially disadvantaged youth wanting to participate in recreational programs affiliated and recognized by the City, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.
Recreation Scholarships
Scholarship opportunities are for youth (18 years of age and younger). Applicants may be eligible to apply once annually.
Scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis as long as funding is available. Scholarships are approved on a quarterly basis and approved scholarships will be for 50% of the recreation program submitted for, with a maximum award of $75.00.
